Meijer Community Rewards are a significant source of fundraising for our band students.

Sign up on line at http://www.meijer.com/rewards/ and list  #869376 Okemos High School Band Boosters as your designated charity. 

Your rewards go into your student’s Personal Fund for trip expenses. When you sign up, let
Deb Jackson, Band Booster Treasurer, know so she can credit your student’s account.  Be sure to tell Deb your student's name and grade in your account inquiry.

You may encourage your friends and family to contribute to your Meijer Rewards to help increase your student's account balance. If you have friends or family wishing to contribute toward your student's account, please also advise our Band Booster Treasurer who those persons are so that their rewards may be directed toward your student's account.  Again, please make sure the student's name and grade are indicated in the request so that accounts may be properly maintained. 

NOTICE REGARDING CHANGE IN REWARDS EARNINGS EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2007

You may have received notice from Meijer that they have changed the Meijer Community Rewards (MCR) program effective May 1, 2007.  As a result of this change, all participants, including the organization, must re-enroll by May 31, 2007 in order to qualify under the new program.

The Okemos Band Boosters have re-enrolled (as of 4/14).  Our number is still the same as before:

To re-enroll you can go online to Meijer.com/MCRmember or call 1-800-962-7011 (where it can be done through an automated  system). You will receive a new MCR card and number. 

If you have a Meijer credit card, you must re-enroll through you existing MCR card number.  Your credit card will automatically be updated to credit purchases to your new MCR card number.

If you have friends and family tied to your MCR number, they must also re-enroll with your new number.

If you have a Upromise account linked to your MCR number, you will need to re-register with Upromise with the new MCR number.

Summary of the new program:

          Purchases with the Meijer credit card earn 1%

          Purchases by CASH or DEBIT CARD earn .5%

NOTE:  Purchases by check or any other credit card will NOT qualify.

No minimum purchase, no maximum purchase. Gas station, convenience store, car wash and Meijer.com purchases will now qualify for rewards.

The organization no longer pays a $5 per month fee.
